I dunno why, but that song just popped in my head as I took a 20 minute stroll around my house tonight. Evenings in Vietnam are just like days in Vietnam -- all the action happens out on the street. People are cooking, washing dishes, children playing, motorbike drivers chilling (sometimes sleeping) on their bikes, teenagers acting like teenagers, people eating at "instant cafes" composed of a cart and portable charcoal fire pot. I even saw one woman carrying a portable fire on a pole slung on her shoulder. That was pretty cool, gotta snap a pic of that.
There is so much life on the streets here. It's amazing.
