"Hola amigos. What's shakin'? I know it's been a long time since I rapped at ya, but the waters are not always smooth in Lake Charvey." Special prize for anyone in My Public who knows where I stole this opener from. I'll post the winner (if any) and answer in a few days.
I'm sitting in an Internet cafe because about three hours after I got ADSL at home yesterday it crapped out. I've been messing with it since and still haven't figured it out. I can't communicate with the company, either, so have no idea if this is a network, router or configuration problem. ISPs have been added to banks and airlines as companies on charvey's s*** list. (Well actually Comcast already joined that list last year).
Got lots of comments the past few days. Keep 'em coming - I like two way communication with the peeps. Been getting a lot of traffic too since Noodlepie mentioned my lil' ole blog on his site. My Public welcomes all.
I added some new traffic widgets recently. The one on the left I stole from Jon H, a Brit who writes a Saigon blog called "Itsthefinalword." It's a map that shows where my traffic is coming from since July 5. The biggest source so far appears to be (drum roll please) ... Kansas City! (Thanks Gavin).
Charvey out.
